About World Collector Club
World Collector Club (“the Website” or “the Club”) is a personal, non-commercial online community for people who enjoy travelling, recording destinations they have explored and sharing memories through postcards. By accessing and using the Club, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please refrain from using its member features.
Registration and user accounts
Some features require registration. Members must provide accurate information, maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials, refrain from impersonating others and use the Website lawfully and respectfully. Each member is responsible for activity carried out through their account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
The Club may restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to address violations, abuse or security concerns. Account removal requests can be made through the contact page, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
Public profiles and travel records
Members can maintain public profiles, record destinations visited, display travel activity on maps and share descriptions or other travel-related information. Public profile information and published contributions may be visible to visitors, including people who are not registered members. Members should avoid publishing sensitive personal information, including private addresses or information about another person without appropriate permission.
Postcards and postal exchanges
Members may send physical postcards using postal services of their choice. World Collector Club does not operate a postal delivery service and does not guarantee that any postcard will be delivered, received or delivered on time. Members are responsible for postage, addresses they use, the content of the cards they send and their own interactions with other members.
Postcards received for inclusion in the Club may be scanned and displayed on member profiles. Please do not include private addresses, telephone numbers or other sensitive information in material intended for public display. You can request the review or removal of a published postcard scan through the contact page.
User-generated content and intellectual property
Members may submit travel records, photos, descriptions, profile details, postcard-related materials and other contributions. They must have the necessary rights and permissions for their submissions and must not post unlawful, infringing, abusive, misleading or privacy-invasive material.
Members retain ownership of their original content. By choosing to share content publicly on their Club profile, members grant World Collector Club a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display, distribute and adapt that public content as necessary to operate the community and to promote the Club through its communication channels. This includes the Club’s website, social media, newsletters, promotional materials and paid advertising campaigns, including advertisements displayed on third-party platforms. Such use must relate to the promotion of World Collector Club and does not transfer ownership of the content.
Members must ensure they hold the rights and permissions necessary to grant this licence, including where their content features other people. Members may request that particular content stop being used in future promotional communications through the contact page. The Club will assess and implement applicable requests, although material already printed, distributed or used in completed campaigns may not always be retractable. Any processing of personal data remains subject to applicable data protection law and the Privacy Policy.
Badges, ranks and achievements
Badges, ranks and achievements recognise activities such as recording visits or collecting postcards. They are virtual distinctions with no cash value and do not represent a financial reward. World Collector Club reserves the right to modify the rules and criteria for awarding badges, ranks and achievements at any time, including eligibility requirements, progression thresholds and associated rewards. Where feasible, important changes will be communicated to members.
Moderation, suspension and termination
The Club may review and remove content that appears unlawful, infringes third-party rights or breaches these Terms, and may take proportionate action against accounts responsible for repeated or serious violations. You can report content through the contact page, identifying the relevant page or contribution and explaining the issue. Reports are assessed in light of applicable law and the circumstances.
Liability, external links and changes
Travel information and other member contributions are provided by their respective contributors and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Members are responsible for their own exchanges. The Club does not guarantee uninterrupted access or successful postcard delivery. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibilities or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Website may link to third-party websites that it does not control. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will be available on this page, with its last-updated date. Continued use after notification of material changes, where applicable, may be subject to acceptance of the revised Terms.
